Paul Berry is CEO and Co-Founder of Amiglia.
Paul’s career has focused on building social software
applications. He was most recently Senior Vice President for
CharterMac, a public
company market capped at $2 billion with $23 billion in assets
where he ran the IT Department for 5 years. Previously Paul
created partnerships with MSN, Yahoo!, WorkingWomen, Wall
Street Journal and others while building
Bplans.com
and
PaloAlto.com for
Palo Alto Software. He has a Masters degree from ITP at NYU
and a BA both Cum Laude. At ITP Paul studied contagious media
and social software, launching
Dog
Island a fabulously successful contagious project. He
has worked for Intel and Eyebeam, where he produced several
successful online activism projects which appeared on the
Today Show and in the New York Times. His work has won numerous
awards including Yahoo Internet Life Incredibly Useful Tool
of the Week and USA Today Hot site (twice).
Milena Berry is Co-Founder of Amiglia and
has a Masters from ITP at NYU (ranked 2nd to MIT's Media Lab
by Newsweek). She has more than 6 years of Web Production
experience, including managing localization for HP in Europe,
Africa and the Middle East. Most recently she was the Director
of Production for more than 130 sites for academic recruitment
and retention. Her work on future robotics and wearable technologies
got global news coverage including an appearance on Nippon
TV and was presented at Gwangju Design Biennale, SIGGRAPH
and the Ubiquitous Computing Conference. Milena speaks Bulgarian,
Russian, Dutch and German. In her spare time she teaches robotics
in NYC's public schools.
